What does Emma bring to coaching?

I am a certified professional co-active coach who has trained with CTI. I have also completed their co-active leadership programme. I am a qualified teacher, who had a successful career in Inner City London, where examples of my teaching were filmed and used to train teachers across the UK in Effective Teaching and Learning. Since we relocated to Somerset, I have completed a course in Shamanism. I am married and a parent. I was introduced to Life Coaching in Washington DC and have benefitted from a coaching relationship for a number of years.
Through a broad range of life experiences – some joyful and fun, others heart wrenching or adventurous – I’ve grown into a person with great depth, range and compassion for the human condition. My journey has been one of healing and self-acceptance, and the compassion I have for myself allows me to see into the heart of people, and whatever is there both the dark and the light is welcomed, treasured without judgment, creating an incredibly safe place for people to be and grow. I love to play and unleash the creative spirit inside. I have a deep affinity with nature, and I often see the world inside me reflected in the outside, both in terms of the people I meet and the things I see and hear. I view all of these as assets we can leverage in the coaching relationship.
People say that: I am someone who is committed to playing full out and helping others do the same. I am someone who has tremendous courage to explore, to face the deepest truths and to say the things that need to be said in order to really grow people big.
My focus is to:
- Draw out your core values.
- Release limiting beliefs and patterns.
- Design the next chapter which is aligned to your goals and passions.
- Hold you accountable to those goals.
- Deepen your learning and forward the action.
